Questions & Answers

Are strollers allowed on the course?

Although it's not recommended, the course is stroller friendly. We ask that anyone with a stroller please stay to the back of the pack.

Are pets allowed?

No, county regulations prohibit pets on school property.

Where do I park?

Parking will be allowed in the school’s staff/visitor lot until 7:15. Enter Python Path off of Old Venice Road and veer to the right. Parking will also be allowed in the shell lot until 7:30. The entrance is just south of Python Path off of Old Venice Road. After the start of the 5K at 7:30 no cars will be allowed to enter either lot.

Will there be water stations?

Yes. There will be 2 water stops along the 5K route. The first is at the 1.5 mile mark. The second will be at the 2.5 mile mark and will also serve as a water stop for the 2.1K.

How will the race be timed?

The race will be chip-timed. A timing strip will be attached to the back if each runner's race bib. You must run with your assigned bib number. Timing strips will record each runners time at the start and at the finish.

What are the age groups for the awards?

The awards will be given to the top 6 finishers in each age group both male and female: 0-7, 8-9,10-12, 13-15, 16-19, and 5-year increments.
